Check with your local Authorities Having Jurisdiction to determine your local and state codes and laws. However, as a general rule, your building requires the services of a Special Inspection Agency for Mechanical Smoke Control System if it is:

• A High-Rise Structure 75-feet or taller (Note: in NV, it's 55 ft)

• An Atrium or an opening connecting two or more stories enclosed with a roof

• An Underground Building 30-feet or greater below the surface
